Olana is Frederic Church's home in the town of Hudson, across the Hudson River from Cedar Grove. Built between 1870 and 1891 in a style influenced by Persian art and architecture and largely designed by Church himself, Olana sits atop a hill overlooking the river, surrounded by 250 acres of carefully designed gardens and winding pathways. A National Historic Landmark, Olana's main house and grounds are open to the public. For more information, visit www.olana.org.
